Key Features

The GPO500 Solar Fusion is a modern, energy‑efficient mobile welfare unit designed to bring comfort, practicality, and sustainability to busy construction sites, all while maintaining full HSE and CDM compliance. With seating for eight in the canteen area and a fully functional office space for two additional users, it offers a versatile working environment that supports both welfare needs and on‑site administration. Built to reduce generator runtime, fuel consumption, and emissions, the GPO500 Solar Fusion provides reliable welfare provision while keeping long‑term operating costs low.

Rapid Setup

The GPO500 Solar Fusion is engineered for fast, hassle‑free deployment. Its twin‑axle trailer design and hydraulic system allow the unit to be lowered to ground level, enabling a single operator to position, level, and secure it within minutes. A hydraulically damped tow coupling and protective steel nose cone support smoother, safer towing and dependable setup on any site.

Fully Equipped Welfare Facilities

Designed to comfortably support people throughout the working day, the GPO500 Solar Fusion includes a spacious canteen area with cushioned bench seating for up to eight people. The welfare area features a hard‑wired microwave and kettle, a large stainless‑steel sink with warm water, 20‑litre fresh and wastewater containers, towels, soap, and a cup dispenser.

The toilet area includes a 280L recirculating chemical toilet with a ventilation pipe, a forearm wash basin with warm water, hygiene dispensers, and all required fittings to maintain full HSE compliance.

Reliable Power & Electrical Systems

Built with efficiency and reliability in mind, the GPO500 Solar Fusion uses PIR‑activated lighting throughout, supported by a robust 130Ah battery with a guard, a voltmeter, inverter‑powered sockets, and a consumer board with RCD/MCBs.

When additional power is needed, the 6kVA diesel generator provides dependable performance with exhaust venting and a separate fuel‑level gauge. Paired with a 58‑litre fuel tank and Fuel Active system, the Fusion delivers extended runtime. Air‑blown heating ensures consistent warmth and comfort while minimising generator load.

Safe and Secure Design

The unit includes steel personnel doors to all four internal sections and a shuttered aluminium window for added protection. A lockable steel nose cone shields vital components when lowered into position.

Internally, the unit is fitted with a carbon monoxide monitor, smoke alarm, and high‑level ventilation. GRP‑lined walls with block insulation inserts help maintain heat and improve internal durability, while the hot‑dipped galvanised chassis and steel‑profiled wall panels deliver long‑lasting strength.

Practical Internal Layout

The unit includes a canteen with a rest and eating area, a drying and changing/generator room, a toilet, and a dedicated office space.

Energy‑Efficient Solar Fusion Technology

The GPO500 Solar Fusion is engineered with sustainability in mind, delivering reduced fuel consumption and lower carbon emissions through its solar‑assisted power setup. Its enhanced internal insulation, insulated flooring, and GRP‑lined interior help reduce heat loss and maintain a stable internal temperature with far less energy required. The efficient air‑blown heating system provides rapid warmth while minimising generator load, supporting quieter operation, lower running costs, and improved overall efficiency across all working conditions.
