Two 2kW wall‑mounted downflow heaters provide consistent warmth, supporting efficient drying throughout the day. Slatted bench seating runs around the perimeter of the unit, with coat hooks to allow clothing to be hung neatly. PIR sensors help manage energy use while maintaining reliable operation.
Canteen Area: Practical Welfare Space
The canteen area provides a clean, functional space for breaks, refreshments, and daily welfare needs. A stainless‑steel sink with a double base unit and worktop offers a durable and practical surface for food preparation and washing up during the working day.
Electrical provision is designed to support increased use, with double socket outlets positioned above and below the worktop, and two additional double sockets at low level to allow flexible use of appliances. A 5‑litre water heater supplies hot water, while a 2kW wall‑mounted convector heater helps maintain a comfortable internal temperature in colder conditions. PIR lighting supports reduced energy consumption without affecting usability.
