Bringing Smarter Energy Use to Construction Site Welfare

Welfare units play a huge part in keeping a site running smoothly, and the expectations around them have grown as projects have become more demanding. Teams need spaces that are comfortable, practical, and easy to maintain, whether they’re on the move or based in one spot for months at a time.

To support that, we’ve expanded our range with new mobile and static units that offer more choice, better layouts, and a modern approach to power and efficiency. These new additions all share one big benefit: a solar‑assisted power system that helps reduce generator usage without changing the way the units operate. You still get all the essentials you’d expect on a busy construction site, just with lower fuel demands and quieter everyday running.

Here’s a closer look at what’s new.

GP500 Solar Fusion

A mobile welfare unit built for teams of up to 10.

The GP500 is a spacious, easy‑to‑tow mobile welfare unit designed for teams who need reliable daily comfort. It offers warm‑water washing facilities, a compliant toilet, drying capabilities, air‑blown heating, and PIR LED lighting.

The key upgrade is its solar‑assisted setup, which helps the unit rely less on diesel power throughout the day. The generator is still there when needed, but far less active, making the GP500 easier and more economical to run.

GPO500 Solar Fusion

Mobile welfare unit, with a built‑in office space.

If your site needs both welfare facilities and a private work area, the GPO500 fits that gap perfectly. It includes welfare seating for eight and a separate office, making it ideal for supervisors or site managers who need a quiet place to focus.

It runs on a hybrid power system supported by solar energy. This helps reduce generator runtime, keep noise levels lower, and extend fuel life without affecting performance.

GPO660 Solar Fusion

A larger mobile unit with stronger hybrid efficiency, seating up to 12 when used to its full potential.

The GPO660 steps things up with a roomier internal layout, a dedicated office, a proper drying room, and improved comfort across the board. It’s built for busier sites that need more than the basics.

The standout feature is its high‑efficiency solar‑assisted system, which can reduce generator usage by a significant margin. For long‑term or high‑demand projects, that reduction in fuel burn and noise can make a big difference.

SW6100 Solar Fusion

A dependable static welfare unit for long‑term projects.

The SW6100 works well for projects that stay in one place for a while. It gives teams a comfortable, organised space with seating for eight, warm‑water facilities, toilet facilities, good ventilation, and a separate drying room that helps keep clothing and equipment in better condition throughout the day.

Because it uses a solar‑assisted setup, the generator only kicks in when required. This keeps daily running quieter, more efficient, and more cost‑effective.

SWO7600 Solar Fusion — 6kVA & 9.8kVA

Static welfare with a separate office and space for 10–12 people.

The SWO7600 is built for larger teams needing proper structure and space. You get a canteen, toilet, drying room, and a dedicated office for management tasks.

Each model runs on a solar‑assisted hybrid power system that helps cut down noise, reduce fuel use, and ease the workload on the generator, creating a calmer and more efficient welfare space throughout the day.

SWO7600 + 20ft Canteen (10kVA)

A larger setup supporting up to 20 people.

For the biggest teams, this extended version includes a full 20ft canteen, giving seating for up to twenty people. It’s ideal for long-term projects with teams on-site.

Even with the extra space, it still benefits from a solar‑assisted hybrid system, easing the workload on the generator and helping keep operating costs under control.

Why these new additions make a difference

Every project is different, so having more welfare options simply makes things easier. With mobile and static choices, layouts for small or large teams, and solar‑assisted power across the range, sites get setups that run quieter, cost less to fuel, and fit the way the work actually happens.

In Summary

These new welfare units are simply about giving sites more choice and making everyday setup easier to manage. With solar‑assisted power helping keep fuel use down and a range of layouts to suit different team sizes and project styles, it’s now much simpler to match the right unit to the way the work actually runs. Everything feels quieter and more comfortable for the people using it day to day.
