Supporting our Armed Forces
This year we will be showing support for the men and women who…
This pandemic we are now in caused by the Coivd-19 virus does not seem to be going away. In fact it seems to be getting worse and worse. The infection rate has gone up soo high that a national lockdown has now been put it place. It is currently unclear of when this will come to an end. There was some confusion as to whether construction sites could remain open and if they classed as ‘essential work’. Many of course have been allowed to remain open as long as it is safe to do so. This will have to be with masks and social distance being practiced to try and reduce the spread. It is advised that if any tasks cannot be performed safely due to this then it should not be, and that health and safety requirements are not compromised.
Davlav has remained open, continuing to serve our clients and therefore keeping their construction sites open. If they continue to run as safely as possible then hopefully they’ll be able to. We ourselves have had to adapt. Our office staff now will be working from home. Our yard staff however will remain in as the yard still needs to be open in order for us to do business. Thankfully our drivers will continue their hard work delivering Davlav’s products and services throughout the country. By staying open through this national lockdown we are able to help keep other construction sites open. We have also begun to provide new products to help with this pandemic. Such as our hand sanitiser stations.
We have begun to work on a white book titled ‘Protecting Our Construction Industry’ in which we will detail numerous ways in which we can keep construction sites safe and open in compliance with government guidelines. We will attach a link below when it is done.
Here is the completed white book: Davlav_covid19_White book
