Coming Together for Armed Forces Week 2026
This week, we are proud to support Armed Forces Week, a national opportunity to show our appreciation for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community. The week recognises the dedication, courage, and sacrifices of serving personnel, reservists, veterans, cadets, and their families, while also highlighting the valuable role they play in supporting and protecting our communities and country.

On Wednesday, 24 June 2026, we mark Reserve Forces Day, celebrating the men and women who balance civilian careers with service in the UK Reserve Forces. Their commitment, skills, and willingness to serve alongside their everyday responsibilities make a vital contribution to the nation’s defence and resilience.
We then look forward to Armed Forces Day on Saturday, when communities across the UK come together to honour and thank all those who serve and have served in the Armed Forces.
To acknowledge both occasions, we will be hosting a shared lunch on Thursday. Staff are invited to bring a dish to share with colleagues as we come together to recognise the Armed Forces community, reflect on their service and sacrifice, and show our appreciation for everything they do in support of our country.
